Send MessageAlice Walsh Taylor was born and raised in Dublin, Virginia and moved to Tennessee in 1980 where she earned her BSW from East Tennessee State University. She began her career working at Greene Valley Developmental Center as a Social Worker, which proved to be one of the most rewarding and educating experiences within her professional career. She was recognized for her excellence in the field being receiving several promotions including Resident Program Specialist, Host Home Coordinator, and East Tennessee Regional Office Staff Development Coordinator. In 2009, Alice became credentialed as a Person Centered Thinking Trainer. Alice remarks that “In all the years of having been in this field, person centered thinking and practices has proven to be the most effective for supporting people to have a better life.” As a result of using person centered tools and skills, Alice has enjoyed supporting people living a life based on what is important to them within the balance of being healthy and safe. Alice retired from Tennessee State Government after 30 years and in January 2014 was excited to have the opportunity to work in the newly developed Training Department with Premier’s sister company and now Premier.
Alice is marred to Samuel Kyle Taylor, III who has worked in education for 45 years and 39 of those years as an Elementary School Principal and they reside in Russellville, Tennessee. They have a daughter, Pattie Ruth, who attends Radford University in Virginia; a son Adam and his wife Casie, and daughter Brylie, in Morristown, Tennessee; a son, Sammie and his wife Jenny and their daughter, Kaitlyn, in Charlotte, North Carolina.
